Antarctic expeditioners are great tall story tellers. But this time, the tale is from the dog's point of view. STAY (Stuck there all year) is the fibre glass donation dog, 'borrowed' from the Guide Dog Charity and taken to Antarctica by expeditioners. Author Hazel Edwards was 'writer on ice' with the Australian Antarctic Division in 2001 and learnt about STAY's adventures while she was beset in the polar ice. Generous expeditioners donated, but some money was digital! How can it be collected? http://www.hazeledwards.com/page/antarctic_literature_hazels_books.html has links to more books about Antarctica written by Hazel Edwards
