A young Iraq war Special Forces officer has gone AWOL. One day in 2007, on the way home from work, Rob is assaulted by a mysterious group of gene-enhanced soldiers. After he arrives on board a top secret vessel named “Orion,” he finds out that this shadowy group – led by the gruff Colonel Tocsin – has kidnapped him for a special one way mission to fight an alien invasion. The only catch is that this battle will take place 12,000 years in the future, and there’s no going back. As Rob becomes a part of this crack battalion of specially enhanced soldiers with futuristic weapons, he discovers that the information they are relying upon may be flawed and even intentionally misleading. One of the secret tasks Rob is given by Colonel Tocsin is to try to find a traitor who is hidden somewhere on the Orion ship.
