April Fool’s Day, ten years after the original terrible crimes committed by the Harlequin. A crowd gathers in Glasgow city centre to enjoy some entertainment, but the joy turns to terror as three people are callously murdered. Tom Russell, now a detective inspector, joins the investigative team to allow him to make amends for the mistakes of the past. Interference from those in positions of power make the task more difficult and Russell must find his own way to stop the killer before the Harlequin adds more bodies to his murderous tally.
