Issue Five of The Big Click launches with Andrea Gibbons’ “Lost and Found,” the tale of a former guerrilla (and mother) who must make a new life for herself in Los Angeles after the war’s over. Our second story, “Bluebeard’s Ghost” by Ray Banks, lets us into the mind of a convicted sex offender who discovers that the plans you make in prison don’t always work out once you’re a free man. Also, Daphne Gottlieb muses on the nature of courage vs. hope in “☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠” a piece about Aileen Wuornos, a serial killer who loved cats and Natalie Merchant songs.
