An urgent phone call from an old friend, offers photographer Dan a “nice little earner.” The job would be near a pub situated on the top of the moors in the Peak District of Derbyshire.Halfway into the shoot, Dan begins to think this is a set up. The job wasn’t what he first thought it would be. He starts to wonder just what was he is letting himself in for and whether he should continue with it, but he could do with the money.A short story, with just over 4000 words, a good coffee cup read by new author Les Dale. A retired photographer himself, Les decided to try his hand at writing. This is his first attempt.
