This book also reveals the daily life of and international police officer turned war criminal hunter who finds himself right in the middle of a Balkan war zone. If the landmines, IEDs, and insurgents were not enough to make this assignment difficult, the lack of electricity and running water did. Of course there's the "politics" of the UN - every nation wanted to be "in charge" of something, so if you're looking for a "true crime, biography, political, true life adventure book" this one should fit the bill.
