Vampires have been quietly integrating themselves in to human society for the past fifteen years. They have promoted movies, TV serials, and books portraying the vampire as a misunderstood segment of society with alternate dietary needs.These are not the bold sucking monsters of the 1950‘s movie fame but sophisticated business people who have established their own, legal blood banks and enterprises.A string of abductions in Northern Florida and arm-twisting by the FBI encourages Dagon Investigations to apply their special talents to the problem.The vampire court in Jacksonville enlists the agencies aid in countering the threat of revealing their existence by a group of rogue vampires and their muscle, ghouls. Nobody to turn down a lucrative contract, Dagon jumps in with two feet, enlisting the aid of a Pooka, a spiritualist, and an assortment of modern fairies.Fairies and the FBI work together to locate the ghoul nests. The flushing out of the ghoul’s nests ends in a climactic battle at an abandon cement factory, where vampires, peacekeepers, FBI and Jacksonville police battle vampires and their ghouls in order to free the prisoners in their larder.Just as things settle down, a new vampire threat emerges as a rival court from the old country seeks to take the Orlando area away from the Jacksonville court.Their production of a new drug, which requires vampire blood as an ingredient leads to a vampire turf war and the appearance of the Sorceress who has an affinity for converting lawn gnomes and Halloween decorations into malevolent guardians.Rollerblading and buxom dominatrix fairies, a werewolf with personal problem, vampire slayers and security teams, plus the creation of the FBI X files unit just add to the mayhem that seems to be a new constant in the life of Dagon Jamm.
