Nobody should have that much power. He took his crown off. Just a simple band of woven silver, nothing compared to his ceremonial one. He rubbed his head where the circlet had lain. It chafed a little, but that was one of the downsides about being a king. That and making monumental decisions like the one he was about to face. He turned back to the window and looked over his kingdom again. If he didn’t make the right decision, Calnis could fall.
