Year of the Dog

In a small southern town, a good ol' boy and a preacher’s son find a pack of strange animals. Bearing visions, the dog-like creatures show them what has been and what could be. As the visions twist reality, the preacher’s simple son believes he has found a way to earn the respect of his distant father. A selfish man, Samuel leads a small congregation. He sees the “pups” as a path to greatness, but only for himself. As he introduces his flock to the visions, they find the horror that masquerades within the weepings. Featuring full color illustrations, The Year of the Dog is a tale of faith betrayed by greed, and humanity threatened by an alien nature.
