Siberian Adventure-A woman's journey Anya Bressoff thinks she has found the answer to her prayers. The man she meets in San Francisco will take her to places far from Southeast Alaska. Instead, his first posting is in Russia, a place her father warned him Anya must never go. Kidnapped, Anya finds she can only go east across Siberia to find her way home to Bressoff Island. Anya’s family learn in a telegram from her husband he fears she is dead. The trek to reach home may end her life. No matter, she must try. Anya intends to rid herself of an unwanted husband. Then one question remains. Will the man she overlooked still be waiting if she can get home?
