A Bleak Midwinter

Once again, Smith and Bea are back to London and back to their regular lives. Smith’s niece is off to school and the couple is back to work. Only Bea switched back to Vi’s house for her employment, so she can be near her daughters while she works, and all is going well. In the bitter cold, nearly alone at Vi’s home, Bea discovers an unseasonable and un-Londonlike snowfall. She’s stuck. And, she’s not alone.
