The creature was relentless and all consuming. All it wanted was to feed. It did not matter whether those it made suffer were living or dead. And now, an ancient and terrible evil saw the chance to use it’s powers. If it was not stopped, then humanity would be poured into a chasm from which there would be no relief. It would take a unique combination of both the living and the dead to stop it.
