The Unraveling

Is it kidnapping or a set up? Revenge is not easily quenched. Psychoanalyst Nate Shelley and his family are back in Chicago attempting to settle into a tranquil life after escaping a European drug lord's quest for revenge. Revenge that almost puts them in an international prison for murder. Diego Montemayor, an international criminal holds Nate and his family responsible for the death of his wife who perished in a hospital fire in the Canary Islands. Professor Miró Epstein-Shelley, Nate's wife, suddenly is missing. Following an anonymous tip, Nate tracks down his drugged wife being held in a local hotel room with a dead stranger on her bed. The stranger has been murdered. Things are not as they appear and Diego’s revenge keeps entangling their lives. Although local officials enlist the help of federal authorities to solve the kidnapping and the murder, the investigation lingers without any resolution. Nate concludes the only way to put an end to the threat on his family’s life is to face Diego himself. How will a psychoanalyst stand up to an international drug lord?
