The Riviki were set on destroying every last city that could oppose them. Kingdoms were toppled and magical citizens given two choices. Join the Meggik, the collective group of magical soldiers, or die. When the Riviki burned down the kingdom of Koretti, they forgot to make sure all the royal family was killed. Princess Elysia survived. Partnered with her adopted siblings, Elysia travelled to Rivik, determined to destroy the kingdom or die trying. Harlow was trouble. She had been since joining the Meggik, and with her unstable responses to emotions, she is rumored to be crazy. One slip away from destroying the lives of the people around her. However, when she met Elysia, Harlow found she had something more to live for. Bound together in an unbreakable bond, Elysia and Harlow, along with other members of the Meggik, go on a mission to the mountains.
