America's Share in a Partition of China

This article from the August 1900 issue of The North American Review, is a discussion of whether the America should participate in a future partition of China. If such a thing should happen it would go against the Monroe Doctrine which had already been modified somewhat to allow an occupation of the Philippine Islands in the wake of the Spanish-American War.
