An experiment in cinematic ecstasy, combining sources from medieval and contemporary mystics, alchemists, heretics, and filmmakers, including Paracelsus, Marguerite Porete, Brian de Palma, Billy Wilder, Hollis Frampton, and Dante. Set in abandoned movie theaters, bedrooms, gas stations, parking lots, boardwalks, and labs, there are run-ins with various strangers, lovers, and artworks by Mike Kelley, Andre Masson, Michel Houellebecq, Goethe, and Caravaggio.
