Small Folk Rhymes Part 2, Fun + Activities

My first e-book for children, 'Small Folk Rhymes', introduced my readers to some memorable characters in rhyming form. Now, in Part 2, there are laughs, riddles and mental activities to play with, further exploring the same animals and characters. Maybe you wish to learn more about Echidnas and why they are 'not kidding'. Or think about the many and varied footwear that go under the category of shoes… even the 'One Lonesome' variety. Perhaps you wish to explore the idea of other vegetable that grown underground, just like the carrot in it's own rhyme. The riddles and jokes and rhymes are accompanied by clipart and actual photos to enhance the mental pictures a small mind may create, and the suggested sounds and voices are bound to delight the 'tall' out-loud reader as much as the early reader, just beginning along the path to becoming a besotted bookworm. With a focus on colours and sounds, and an almost 'I Spy' approach to searching more carefully through my words, this is a book to provide entertainment and subtle education of the humorous kind. If you don't already have a copy of the first 'Small Folk Rhymes', don't despair. Part 2 can stand cheerfully on its own two legs, all by itself. But don't blame me if you are tempted to have the original book as well.
