Twenty-Two Approaches to Eco-Art is the third book in the series Textlets in Art and Ecology. As in her previous books, author Linda Weintraub introduces innovative and accessible analysis of vanguard art practices. In this instance she has produced a series of three college textbooks that explore the dynamic intersections between environmentalism and contemporary art. The twenty-two approaches are categorized as archetypes, designers, philosophers, activators, and dramatizers. Each category is represented by chapter-long essays on individual artists. The book organizes and defines the numerous divergent approaches to protecting and healing the planet.
