The Sky Suspended

A novel of asteroids, crowds, lawyers and a starship. It is the 22nd century and a generation has passed since asteroid scares led to the creation and launch of a single interstellar starship. The ship has returned, and brings with it video, data, statistics and visions of the beautiful blue and green world it has found. People are star-struck, and three in particular are immediately affected.
