As tall, lovely Mimi Spain made her first move toward independence, she could only hope that her good looks would eventually be publicized to thousands of people. She had yearned to be a fashion model, but with five lively younger sisters at home, as well as lots of housework, Mimi had put her dreams away, along with her high school diploma, and had pitched in. After a few months as "assistant mother" she knew she must have a career of her own. With her family's cooperation in sharing the household chores, Mimi started out to find a job.
