Bluff Creek Stories

In each short story of this warm and humorous account, B.J. Miller offers us glimpses of what it was like to grow up along the sandy banks of Bluff Creek in Kansas in the 1940s. Before electricity and well before TV, the Kansas prairie, farm life, and the changing creek provided plenty of adventure--whether it was hand fishing or channel cats, enduring a black-as-night dust storm, or trying to find a girlfriend in a one-room school.
