“They’re calling her the Woman in White.” A few weeks after defeating Lady Sahajah, one of the dark mistresses of the Tyrant who is trying to escape oblivion by shattering its seal, Laqiya is starting to feel normal again, just in time for a relaxing summer vacation. However when a new dark mistress rears her head, one who leeches off the life source of others in order to restore her beauty, extend her lifespan, and increase her strength so that she can shatter the seal of oblivion and release the Tyrant, Laqiya’s plan to be normal and lay low so no one finds out her alter identity as the White Rose becomes all the more harder. This new mistress prefers grand acts of terrorism that forces the White Rose to fight her out in the public. Now everyone wants to know who the “Woman in White” is. And none want to know more than one of the biggest criminal gangs in Roselyn; a gang Nephthys, Laqiya’s troubled cousin with a track record for finding trouble or as Nephthys calls it “straying around the perimeter of trouble,” has connections to through three of the country’s most infamous female gangsters. While Laqiya is sure Nephthys would never do anything to put her in harm’s way, the same can’t be said about the White Rose. Laqiya already has enough enemies without having to be forced to make another enemy out of her cousin. But when Nephthys makes a deal to help her criminal associates get a hold of the White Rose, Laqiya might just be forced to.
