Riverman

In the Tasmanian mining disaster of 1912, Tim finds himself on a dangerous adventure. He sets off with his uncle and a team of rivermen down the Franklin River and when everything seems lost it is Tim who has to get them out of trouble. By the author of "Eagle Island" and "Hero". Tim has always been known as 'Shrimp' - and in the tough town of Zeehan a small kid is no use to anyone. But a mine disaster and a perilous journey up the wild Franklin River changes that.
