It is made entirely of obsidian, and its surface is covered with intricate carvings depicting scenes of torture. Above the altar hangs a huge chandelier made of polished bone. You can hear whispering coming from behind a pair of doors on either side of the altar. The floor around the altar seems to slope downward, almost as if it was designed to drain away anything that fell onto it.A chalice lies shattered on the ground near the altar. Its golden cup has been cracked open by some force or accident, revealing a glistening red liquid inside.There's nothing here but the broken remains of a chalice.You've found yourself in a cemetery. The graveyard stretches out before you on all sides, stretching back into the distance until it fades away into the misty darkness beyond. In the far corner of the field, a crumbling stone arch marks the entrance to the mausoleum.On one side of the cemetery, a line of graves extends back into the distance. On the other side, several dozen wooden crosses stand in silent vigil over rows of simple grave markers. The wind whips through the grasses, stirring up clouds of dust that swirl across the graveyard. As your eyes adjust to the dim light, you notice a pair of white marble statues standing guard near the edge of the cemetery. One of the figures is a man holding a torch aloft, while the other statue is a woman with her arms outstretched toward the heavens. Beyond the statuary is a path leading down to a pair of ornate iron gates. The gates are closed, and they appear to be locked.A gazebo stands on the edge of the cemetery, where the path meets the road. The building is made entirely of rough-hewn wood, stained dark brown by time and weather. It is topped
