Middle Grade, Chapter Book -- Danny Albright has no friends and fewer prospects. That is, until he discovers Weasel Potts, a kid from the local homeless shelter, spying on him through a grate in the wall. They band together at a time when both their lives are riddled with uncertainties, but when their friendship is threatened by outside forces, Danny learns the distance a true friend will go to make things right.
