Circle of Confusion

The gutted coach terminal wasn’t a warzone. Even if it looked as if a bomb had hit it. So Philip Brennan was the last person Charlie Hendrix expected to see. Particularly taking fashion shots of a woman dressed in white. He and Brennan had once known each other. Now Brennan was a world-famous photojournalist and Hendrix was scraping a living as a PI. That had always rankled so they didn’t speak. Hendrix would much rather not have to think about the man. Except a month later he had no choice. He was working for the woman’s husband and Brennan was dead. Open and shut, like the iris of a camera. Only life’s never that simple. Not Charlie’s anyway. And the closer he looked the more the picture blurred. Until he realized he was looking at the wrong picture.
