The monster in this case is plant mutated by an experimental plant fertilizer. A brother and sister whose home lies in the monster plant's path must try to save their home--and everything else--from destruction. "Overgrown" also appears in "Zero Hour 2: More Stories of Spiritual Suspense." However, this edition also features a special alternate ending that is not included in "Zero Hour 2."
