A James Early Christmas and Other Stories of the Season

All James Early wants to do on Christmas Eve is sit by the fire and enjoy the company of his new his wife. Well, not all. He also wants to slip away into the night, so he can bring home the gift he’s gotten for her. But before he can do that, Early, the sheriff of Riley County, Kansas, finds himself called out to deal with the old devil and his queen – Ed and Marvelle Watson – battling one another with butcher knives and skillets. From there, it only gets worse as Early struggles to get home with his gift for Bridgette.
