The Holly Sisters’ Adventure in Winterwood is a contemporary tale of three sisters who, while digging a snow tunnel in their back yard, dig their way right into a magical other-world, a woods peopled by faeries, gnomes, elves, three evil witches, and a frightening golem. The king of Winterwood has stolen something very precious from the faeries and unless they can get it back, they will not be able to celebrate Christmas. Clara and the Nutcracker Prince is a respectful reimagining of an original tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann. The year is 1994. When Clara’s beloved grandmother, Nana dies, Clara’s father decides to move the family from Nuremberg to Boston. On the eve of her first Christmas without her beloved Nana, Clara makes a wish and finds herself in a fantastic world created by her eccentric uncle Drosselmeyer, a world of mechanical dolls, a pesky gnome and an army of vicious mice. A handsome Nutcracker becomes her guide and her rescuer as she makes her way through the beautiful world of dancing dolls, in her quest to find her Nana.
