Ingrid Pitt Tucked away against the wall, half hidden by the piled leaves and blending in with the ruined reverence of the tomb, lies a scarred and battered wooden coffin; a number of brightly coloured steamer stickers randomly scattered across the top and sides.
Count Dracula is hiding.
From his wife, the countess.
And from his own reputation as a blood-sucker.
You see, Dracula has turned vegetarian...
This very special hardback edition contains DRACULA WHO...? the brand new novel from legendary 'Queen of Horror', INGRID PITT, and -exclusive to this edition- the original unproduced screenplay.
DRACULA WHO...? was conceived as a feature film in the early 1990s and spent many years in development with various companies, including the legendary Hammer Films. This is the first time that the project has been made available to the public, and offers a very rare opportunity to compare the film and novel versions of the tale.
INGRID PITT was an acclaimed writer and international sex symbol, widely known for her cult film appearances in the likes of Where Eagles Dare, Countess Dracula and The Wicker Man.
Born in Poland to Jewish parents in 1937, she survived the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps, eventually settling in London in the 1960s.
During her lifetime she published ten books, and had just finished a second volume of memoirs when she died in November 2010.
