This book tells the story of an Iraqi woman living in the US, who joins the US army and is sent back to the Iraq war. She met his grandparents in her hometown. But she has become an American, so there is a gap between her and her kinfolks there, which is caused by cultural conflicts. She is here in the war-torn Baghdad with the mission to kill the tyrant Sadam, but her faith begins to shake. She sympathizes with her kinfolks very much and her own identify begins to change. This is a novel reflecting Iraqi peoples life during the war.
