Ghond the Hunter

In 1928 the author won the Newbery Medal for children's literature, the only Indian to achieve this feat. His mission was to interpret Indian tradition and thought to an American readership. This book talks about the life of a boy, of his first fifteen years, his training as a hunter and keen observation of wildlife.
