Class Analysis and Social Research

This text offers a perspective on the nature of the relation between structures, individuals and social change. It attempts to show how the dialectical method of research can be usefully brought to bear on class analysis and on several other specific themes in the social sciences, such as the neo-Ricardian approach to economics, the application of game theory to sociology, and the compatibility of information technology with a socialist organization of the labour process.
