Betrayal

London, January 1252. When a knight is robbed and killed on the road to Canterbury, Constable le Blund asks Gavin Rownt to find the murderer. Rownt soon realizes that the killing is more than it would appear to be when he discovers an empty purse belonging to King Henry III among the knight’s clothing. Do the answers lie in London or in Canterbury? And will the killer strike again?
