She had no intention of marrying anyone! Especially the stuffy old Sir Hugh Eavleigh. Rosamund was young and headstrong. The idea of being tied to a man old enough to be her father horrified her. But she need not have worried, for Sir Hugh had no intention of marrying her. He was a confirmed bachelor, set in his ways, unmoved by the charms of the frivolous women in his set. Perhaps, then, it was their highly unique first encounter that jolted Sir Hugh from his stodgy complacency, and Rosamund into the sudden blossom of maturity.
