Can Arthur and his friends devise a plan to defeat these otherworld criminals? In the end, will they save their precious valley? How? A reader described the novel as a 'gentle' story about maturing minds and enduring friendships. It is suitable for Primary School and early High School libraries. So, while there are no furry animals jumping over each other to reach the strawberry tarts, it is meant for literate 10-year-olds to 15-year-olds. It is a story made for reading aloud. Arthur and his friends are mature, well-balanced, decent kids. They are excellent role models for kids searching for their own identities. You should find it an enjoyable read if you are an adult. One reader read it three times and said it revealed more with each read.
