An elusive serial murderer is seemingly killing at will in Phoenix Ariz. Suspecting this may be an inside job the Mayor commissions Dr. Tobias Talmo to find the killer and put a stop to the wanton killing. The Police Captain dislikes Tobias on sight (it is a mutual feeling) and relegates him to working with handsome lady cop Lieutenant Monahan. Lieutenant Monahan is an unlikely cop who has some surprises of her own for Dr. Talmo. He has to dig deep back into his photographic memory to solve this one and he is nearly added to the killers score when he uncovers the perp. This is the final of the four Dr. Tobias Talmo Series.
