The COVID Chronicles edited by Gina Ryan and Mary-Lou Weisman. When the pandemic caused the Westport, Connecticut Library to cancel classes, the students of the advanced writing class agreed to continue writing by recording and sharing the effects of a changed world on their daily lives—from toilet paper shortages to lockdowns to family tragedies. By turns funny, sad, politically incorrect, poetic, argumentative, and always personal, these compiled diaries follow the unfolding of the pandemic over the course of seven months.
