The Father (Vampire Esquire)

When I find out I'm pregnant, I’ll have to deal with the fact that Sinjin doesn’t believe the baby is his—how could it be? He’s a vampire, after all, and incapable of reproducing. Or at least that’s what everyone thought. As if dealing with Sinjin isn’t enough, Dureau and I have decided to move forward with our plan to contact Luce’s tribespeople through their dreams. But there’s no guarantee this will even work. Sometimes all you have left is hope and I’m putting way too much stock in exactly that.
