Our bird in Heaven

Will our pets experience an afterlife? I believe they will. The loss of a much-loved pet is a bereavement, which affects us all deeply. Over my career as a general medical practitioner I saw true sorrow and grief following the loss of a pet who has become a family member and for many living alone, a confidante and friend. What will Heaven be like for our dear companions? I have imagined the delights that await them seen through their own eyes.
