When Taliesin Tudor's 92-year old great-grandmother, Mamgu, helps chaperone a school trip to Cardiff Castle, Tal sees it as a great opportunity to keep an eye on her as she has been acting strangely lately. But with school bully, Blod, targeting the new boy, Jac, Tal and best friend, Llinos, have a lot more to worry about. When Mamgu tells Tal there is a dragon on the Welsh flag because they are real, Tal battles with confiding in his parents about her odd behaviour. He keeps his worries to himself when they discuss sending her to a nursing home. Showing Jac around their village of Cwm Draig takes an unexpected turn when the boys uncover a secret Mamgu has been guarding for eighty years. Now Tal and his friends, must keep Mamgu and her secret safe before she is sent away forever. For ages 9 - 12!
