Embracing the Sacred Wound: Psalms of Death, Transformation and Resurrection

There is a definitive relationship between a poet and the poem. For some poets, however--Whitman, Browning, Thoreau, Oliver, and Warren, to name a few -- the poetry is more an expression of the relationship between the poet and the Divine. Much of our prayer, psalms, hymns, and poetry are simply the reflection of the soul seeker’s praise, agony, thankfulness and connection to God. “Embracing the Sacred Wound” is both a deep dive and gentle exploration of the gifts of the Spirit.
