The New Chalet School

Originally published in hardcover, The New Chalet School was broken into two volumes in paperback, the first part (this volume) retaining the original title, and the second named A United Chalet School. The friendly rivalry between the Chalet School and St Scholastika's is put to the test by unruly behaviour by the Balbini twins and their catapult. The incident leads to tragic consequences.
