Stanley Bagshaw and the Mad Magic Mix-up

The Huddersgate Theatre Royal is staging a charity concert featuring "The Great Mephisto." Newly arrived and unfamiliar with the town, the famous magician gets lost and is in a bit of a tiz. Stanley, being kind, obligingly helps him find his way to the stage door and, as a reward the young lad is given a ticket for the evening's performance. During the interval, on a mission behind the scenes to get another signature for his autograph book our Stan gets lost and ends up on stage during Mephisto’s act where he unwittingly becomes the star of the show.
