Swirling Embers: Pressed Poems
Nancy Lande For a decade, I set myself on a mission to write poetry that expresses personal images, thoughts, emotions, observations, and the very process of writing. You will find no underlying theme, only what what triggers my mind at any moment. I made endless attempts at poetic styles, different schools of poetry, and word and language usage. I found my style by weeding out an abundant truck load of text in order to distill the essence of what I want to convey. No particular word has more meaning than another and no word stands alone. The poems are meant to leave you with some manner of “impression” in your own experience. Please feel free to (politely) share your reactions, comments, suggestions, or edits to help keep this a living and growing
