Detective Chief Inspector Bob Southwell is not best pleased when his least favourite rival Detective Superintendent Hallam, arrives as his new boss. The new appointment only adds to the pressure bob Southwell is under to solve the wave of attacks on women holding York in the grip of panic. When after the first death, the attacks begin to centre on the university, Bob Southwell has the crazy idea that Hallam may somehow be involved. Or is it so crazy?
