Friendships of Stone

This is the story of Matthew and Ben, two young boys growing up in the city of Three Rivers. They find themselves thrust into the middle of finding a kidnapped friend, and it takes all their effort to save her. Along the way, they enlist the aid of the ducal militia, the city guard, and two mages. Ben encounters a demon who eventually, though unwilling, helps the boy. In the end, they find themselves up in front of the Duke himself.
