When Australian-born Tamara Westcourt, the new Lady Rockhurst, goes to Miss Tiffany's, the school of which she had heard so much, she discovers that things have changed considerably from when her friend 'Bunny' had been there. Miss Tiffany herself is feeling her age; Miss Robinson, her assistant, is more interested in her gentleman friend than in teaching, and the girls do as they like. The school is quickly divided in their attitude towards the new girl, but nothing will ever be the same at Tiffany's now that Tam has arrived!
