The setting is California--the Bay Area, the Central Valley, the Sierras. The characters, a mixed among them a professional wrestler, a bridge prodigy, a wilderness guide and the two sisters, CEOs-in-training, who are his clients. Some are Ben, 17, soon to age out of the dubious comfort of the foster care system; Raul, lured away from his summer job in Mazatlan by a $5,000 a month proposition in the Sequoias. Some have been around a Michael, off to South America to check on his engineering firm s bridge project; Alma Lynn, manipulating the players in her 100,000 acre agribusiness game; Delilah, whose husband has disappeared with $700,000,000. The problem at hand for almost all of them is love.
